Archlord 2 is an MMORPG that puts an insane amount of emphasis on PvP which makes the game seem more tailored towards a specific audience but due to how well executed the game is thanks to its ridiculously fluid gameplay and insane variety of quests and PvP options, Archlord 2 manages to attract a really large playerbase despite being focused on a specific niche.

As the game mostly focuses on Player vs Player combat, there isn’t any real work done towards the plot of the game. The story of the game is basically humans trying to fight off orcs trying to invade their lands and vice versa which is pretty much it. The quests don’t highlight aspects of the plot either but this can’t really be seen as a flaw since this game is so heavily geared towards PvP and the majority of players who are into PvP don’t care about the plot anyway. Moving onto the gameplay of Archlord 2, this is where the game starts to get really good. The first thing that Archlord 2 does extremely well is introducing new players to the game. Instead of making the PvP completely open which would lead to a lot of Player Killing of newbie players, the developers of the game implemented a system that restricts PvP in low level areas which allows the newbie variety to grind their hearts out to get higher levels without the worry of some random high level killing them for the heck of it. The combat in Archlord 2 is one of the best, if not the best, combat systems out there right now.

Each and every skill and ability utilized in combat functions with an extremely fluid motion and the best part is that you can combo together long chains of spells to inflict massive amounts of damage on your foes which gives the game a good skill cap instead of being a regular ‘mash buttons and kill stuff’ game. One thing to note about Archlord 2 is that it is quite easy to grind for money in this game.

There are some quests in the game that have massive payouts and it turns out that you can keep returning to the NPCs who give you this quest to repeat them and get paid the same amount again. Aside from the gameplay, the graphics of Archlord 2 is also one of its strong points. All the locations and environments of the game are teeming with life and they look even better when there’s fast paced combat going on in them. The textures are fairly high quality and very rarely do they look blurry.
