The best weapon is the Aether Strikers in terms of DPS. Use the weapon you enjoy though. Early-game:Just choose the weapon which counters behemoth's element. Red faction 2 cheats.

A +1 weapon that counters the behemoth's element is better than a +4 or +5 weapon vs. Neutral. This does not hold true as u progress though.Don't forget to drink tonics as they increase your damage by as much as 5-6 cells early on in the game.Just complete quests as fast as you can as this allows you to unlock new behemoths, which in turn unlocks new weapons and armor, as well as allowing you to upgrade your weapons and armor to a higher level.U shouldn't worry about armor early game as u can't make any good builds.Elemental resistance on armor doesn't matter much. Mix and match armor to get best perks/cells.Just use the armor with the best cells.

The only good cell slots are Power, Technique, and Utility. If u die a lot, Defence is good too.The only good cells in the game are Ragehunter, Rage, Overpower, Discipline at +3, Iceborne, Wild frenzy, Predator, Evasive fury, Berserker, Conduit. Cunning, Aetheric Attunement, and molten are also decent, but usually not as good as the rest. Just stack as many of these u can.

Don't go over +6 though, as perks/cells don't gain additional effect past +6 rank. Mid-game:Once u complete Dire Warnings, you are in the mid-game. You still can't build anything other than as a full build though. Only use this if u can get +4 Iceborne or more.A +3 weapon that counters the behemoth's element is better than a +6 weapon vs.

Neutral. It may be better to use the Hellion/Riftstalker weapon for general/ neutral hunts as covered below. Late-game:The best weapon for aether strikers, swords, axes, and hammers is Rifstalker. The best weapon for war pike, and chain blades is Hellion. Both are considered top 2 for every weapon due to their OP Unique effects. Unless you are fighting a specific element in trials. How good an armor piece is, usually depends on its innate perks and cells. These are usually mixed and matched to make builds. See if this helps:.Once u unlock Shrowd and Rezakiri, you can check the builds atYou can also make your own builds using Escalations:Upgrade every single amp but only unlock specific amps. This is done so as to not dilute your amp pool with less useful amps and increase the chances of getting the good/useful ones instead.Cunning and Discipline are very good with perks such as Virulent Impact.

Critical Dominion and Transcendent Spite can be decent too. With a normal DPS build, Locus of Power and Pack Tactics are good.Again, consult. Escalation builds or Iceborne DPS(off-meta) builds are both solid for Escalations. Normal Trials:You could use the same builds from or even an Iceborne build in normal trials and still get a sub3.Try and get weapon power and armor resistance to as close to 600 as possible for better damage and survivability.

Dauntless Trials:This is where the real challenge begins. You will pretty much get one-shot anyways, so tanky/support builds are not very useful.Medic is still a decent choice for groups, but u won't be getting sub3s with it unless it's an easy week. Most builds are tailor-fit based on the specific behemoth's element and modifiers. Use to help make your own builds. For example, Overpower will not be used against a thick-skull modified behemoth. Ragehunter will not be used against a behemoth that dies quickly. But all builds stack as much DPS as possible by using cells like Overpower, Ragehunter, Predator, Berserker, Discipline, Rage, etc.If you are gonna get one-shot anyways, stack DPS to absurd amounts so the behemoth isn't alive long enough for you to make a mistake in the first place.Tonics also depend based on the modifiers, but the best tonics to use are generally Aetherdrive tonic, Blitz tonic, Frenzy tonic. Stagger tonic if behemoth is easily staggered, Frenzy pylon if in groups. Best weapon for each element:Countering the behemoth's element is very effective in Trials. Blaze: Hellion. Frost: Boreus.

Dauntless Weapons

Terra: Koshai. Shock: Drask. Radiant: Rezakiri. Umbral: RiftstalkerI hope this helps!Good luck! I could explain every thing in detail but then the guide would be longer than it already is.Aether Strikers is best because:.

It's damage is higher than the rest of the weapons. Blunt weapon types are best because of easy staggers and still 100% part damage, which allows benefiting from Overpower(best perk in the game) much more easily. Easy boops with LHH combo. The special on Aether Strikers deals 200% damage if u have karma breaker and tempest form on, which does an insane, jaw-dropping, 6000+ damage with right builds and right scenarios in Dauntless Trials.
