You play as a character named Capell, a young man who is caught up in an epic adventure simply because he resembles a world-renowned hero named Sigmund. Once he's accidentally broken out of prison by Sigmund's followers, Capell ends up on a path parallel to the great hero Sigmund, mixing himself with Sigmund's own followers as they ultimately seek to unchain the moon from the planet. AdvertisementFrom the outset, head forward and slay the four Order Fighters waiting for you before going into the next room. Swing left down the corridor with the metal gate separating it into two segments. Follow this linear pathway to a staircase leading up, another linear corridor, and then a staircase leading back down (all the while, you'll likely have to fight more Order Fighters). From here, an easy-to-follow set of corridors, this time lined with both Order Fighters and Order Rangers, will lead to a wide open room with more staircases leading up.Before heading up that staircase, you'll want to deal with the plethora of enemies to your right. Amongst the now-familiar Fighters and Rangers, you'll also find Order Conjurers, powerful spell-casting foes that should always be the priority when you are dealing with a fresh group of enemies. Well, they're easy enough to slay, having few hit points, but their offensive magic can be devastating if not held in tight check.

Once you head up the adjacent staircase nearby, you'll find what's referred to as a Dais of Chaos. Examine the Dais and Sigmund will inform you that the proper orb must be found in order to work the dais. This is easy enough to take care of, however. Begin backtracking the way you came, and you'll be told that an item has been found. Backtrack to the aforementioned metal fence separating an earlier corridor, speak to your party, and acquire the Orb of Chaos.

Then, head back to the Dais of Chaos, place the orb within it, and go through the door it opens into another area.In this new area, head forward and take the light elevator to the next location. Head forward to the save orb and save your game, and then use another light elevator to reach yet another locale. You'll encounter a group of new confusion-inducing enemies named Soulcrushers. Kill them as best you can and work your way into the room they were guarding. You'll find some sort of unknown device that can be targeted and attacked. Attack it to open the door on the far side of the room so that you can proceed onward.From here, you can follow a linear series of rooms, each of which seemingly-sealed off with an impassable door.

However, when you approach each door, they should disappear automatically, allowing you entrance to the next area. After going through a series of these rooms, some populated by fierce enemy resistance, you'll reach a room devoid of enemies, but fill of reflective mirrors. In the bottom left corner of this room is a device that shoots a laser. The idea is to get the laser to reflect off of the mirrors and strike the orb locking the door ahead. This is incredibly easy as long as you don't mess with any of the mirrors off the bat. Simply examine the mirror in front of the door and the mirror on the right side of the room, once each. Then, activate the laser and head on through the now-open door.Head on through the door and immediately go leftward down the corridor.

Though we can go through the door ahead - and will - you'll first want to check out the dead end route this path leads to. After slaying the Order Fighter, approach the room he was guarding, which will be full of more Order Fighters, as well as two ever-dangerous Order Conjurers. Slay all within, and then deal with the Jeweled Cabinet Mimic that you likely mistook for a treasure chest. Though you won't be able to get the contents of the faux treasure chest on its back, you should still slay it for massive experience points. Then, backtrack to the door we told you to ignore earlier and head on through.

Simply follow the linear series of corridors to a room populated by another group of pesky Soulcrushers. After felling those foes, you'll see not one but two of the devices you saw earlier that, once struck, will open a door for you to continue.

However, these two devices must be struck in sequence, so hit them both simultaneously. Once through the door these devices were guarding, head forward to a light elevator, save your game on the next platform, and then utilize the second light elevator to get to the third section of the tower.
