Disgaea is a hardcore gamer's wet dream. There are so many layers of gameplay it's almost hard to wrap your head around.

Disgaea DS is essentially a port of the PSP's Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness, which was a reworking of the original PlayStation 2 game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (got it?). The Disgaea universe is filled with wacky characters, colorful anime art, and some of the most hardcore turn-based strategy around.
